Steering rack bellows replacement
1. Lift the vehicle with a jack and support it with jack stands.

2. Disconnect the negative battery cable using a wrench.

3. Remove the outer tie rod end from the steering knuckle using a wrench.

4. Remove the lower ball joint nut and separate the lower ball joint from the steering knuckle using a ball joint separator.

5. Remove the four nuts and bolts that secure the steering rack and bracket to the subframe.

6. Pull the steering rack and bracket out of the subframe, being careful not to damage the rubber bellows.

7. Remove the old bellows from the steering rack and bracket.

8. Install the new bellows on the steering rack and bracket.

9. Reinstall the steering rack and bracket in the subframe, tightening the four nuts and bolts to the proper torque specifications.

10. Reinstall the lower ball joint to the steering knuckle and tighten the nut to the proper torque specifications.

11. Reinstall the outer tie rod end to the steering knuckle and tighten the nut to the proper torque specifications.

12. Reconnect the negative battery cable using a wrench.

13. Lower the vehicle to the ground and check for proper steering operation.
