I bought a Buddy 50 that was in pieces and someone had a mismatched carb on there thatnwas not working well. I have a 2nd all original Buddy 50 and swapping the carb from that one confirmed this was my issue. This carb is nearly identical to the OE carb and seems well made. Putting it on should have been a 5 minute job, but ended up taking 20 minutes because I had to cut the connector off of the old carb and splice it into the bistarter wires on this one to make the connection. That was super disappointing. After the install the scooter fired right up and runs great. Just what I needed…..just get the plug right guys!
