Replacing a Steering rack boot on an golf cart
1. Park the golf cart on a level surface and set the emergency brake.

2. Raise the front of the golf cart with a jack and support it with jack stands.

3. Loosen and remove the nuts and bolts that hold the steering rack in place.

4. Pull the steering rack out from the frame and inspect the boot.

5. If necessary, remove the old boot by cutting it off the steering rack.

6. Install the new boot onto the steering rack, using a lubricant to help slide it into place.

7. Reinstall the steering rack into the frame and tighten the nuts and bolts.

8. Lower the golf cart from the jack stands and test the steering rack for proper operation.
